A Wonderful Christmas

We had such a wonderful Christmas this year. It has been a really long time since we have had any little ones at Christmas time, and it was so much fun for everyone. On Christmas Eve we spent time with my aunts, uncles, and cousins. It was a little bittersweet seeing that it was our first Christmas without our Grandpa with us, but it was still so nice to all be together and to get to enjoy our new addition to the family. He was scooting all over the place :)

On Christmas Day we had a great breakfast with my parents and sisters and brother-in-laws. And, oh the presents. Since we are all older we don't really do presents anymore so everyone was so excited to buy for little Christopher. He didn't really get the concept but he is really enjoying his new toys. He also got a lot of new clothes. I was so thankful for that because he has literally grown out of everything!!!!!! All of his new clothes are sized 18 months. Yes, my 8 month old baby is getting 18 month old clothes. Most of them leave plenty of growing room, but he wore one of the shirts today and it fits!

On Christmas night we went to Chris's parents and had a really nice quiet dinner. It was a nice relaxing end to a busy couple of days.

I am proud to say that the decorations are down and all of the loot is organized and put away. It was a wonderful first Christmas for our family, and I am so excited for the many more to come.

I hope everyone had a wonderful day!
